Privacy and POPIA notice
This notice covers nosplit.co.za, the agent recruitment site for Home Seekers.
Who we are
Home Seekers, 786 Witdoring Avenue, Moreleta Park, Pretoria. Telephone +27 12 880 3127. Email admin@homeseekers.co.za. The business has been registered with the PPRA since 2018.
What we collect
Contact details: your name, email address and mobile number when you apply, or when you ask for a calculator breakdown. Booking a call happens on Calendly's page. Registering for the live session happens on Demio's page. This site does not take those details first.
Production figures: registered sales, value sold, commission rate, selling price and the brokerage model you are on. These are the numbers you type into the calculator.
Application documents, when that step is open, and account login details, when an account is created. This site does not ask for a password yet.
If you allow tracking, Meta's pixel and Google analytics receive technical data such as your device, pages viewed, and the named events this site records.
Why we collect it
To answer you, to send the breakdown you asked for, to check whether the fixed fee fits your production, and to continue an application. A call or a live session is booked on Calendly or Demio, not by an email from this site. Tracking, if you allow it, tells us which parts of the page are used.
Legal basis
Consent, when you ask us to email you, when you agree to this notice on a form, and when you accept tracking cookies. Legitimate interest, when we keep a record of a conversation you started so we can respond.
Who we share it with
Meta, if you accept tracking.
Google, for analytics if you accept tracking, and YouTube if you press play on the video.
Calendly, if you book a call on their page. Demio, if you register for a live session on their page.
Our email provider, Resend, so we can send the message you asked for and a copy to the office.
Our CRM provider, when someone at Home Seekers follows up. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Calculator records are kept for 24 months, then deleted or de-identified unless a legal claim needs them longer. Application records are kept while an application is open and for 24 months after it closes. Call and session registrations are kept by Calendly and Demio under their own notices. Verification codes expire after 15 minutes and are stored only as a hash. Analytics retention follows the settings in those tools, which you can stop by rejecting tracking.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to submission records is limited to people who need them to respond to you. Email codes are hashed. Passwords are not collected at this step. When accounts exist, passwords will be stored only as a hash by the sign-in provider.
Your rights under POPIA
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, for a correction, or for deletion. You can object to processing. You can also complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
Cookies and tracking
We store your tracking choice in local storage on this device. That choice is needed to remember whether Meta and Google tags may load. Those tags do not load until you accept. Use Tracking preferences in the footer to change the choice.
